Several members of Auckland Operational Support were privileged to be invited to share in the celebrations of another wedding on Friday. QFF Nick Clifford married his partner Lisa at West Auckland's Waitakere Estate, timing his outdoor ceremony perfectly to dodge showers associated with the 'weather bomb' which hit Auckland only hours afterward.
Also in attendance was Operational Support 2, providing both support and some light entertainment to the wedding party, which included QFF Jonathan Sadler as one of the Groomsmen. The Chief Fire Officer of Auckland Operational Support, Glenn Teal, wished Nick and Lisa every blessing and success for the future, on behalf of the entire Unit.
