The Auckland Operational Support Unit, comprised totally of volunteer members, acknowledges the valuable contribution made by some of our employers (including Members who are self-employed) who assist us, and therefore our Unit, ensuring our services are available to the community when it calls for help in times of emergency. These businesses assist us in many different ways.
We salute them through Fire and Emergency New Zealand's formal Employer Recognition Programme.
We hope they will display with Employer of Volunteers mark (below) showing their participation in what's becoming a rather exclusive "club" : those who actively support Fire and Emergency volunteers. We look forward to adding to the list:
