QFF Mark Potter pretended to be a barista for the day....
Our brigade was on hand today at seven South Auckland Z stations as part of a fundraiser. Aiga Energy, which operates the service stations, donated $1 to the Brigade for every large coffee sold. Members were on hand to persuade coffee-drinkers to "make that a large" enabling the Brigade to benefit. QFF Mark Potter who led today's team says the members' presence was welcomed, linking the brigade with the Z service stations, large coffees and the fundraiser. "We were out there in time to intercept those grabbing their 'first coffee of the day', then through morning sales followed by the lunchtime crowd". Aiga Energy will soon announce the proceeds.
