The brigade's stand at Sirens and Sounds with new signage and flags
For the 5th year emergency services today held what's described as "a fun way to present vital information... see how Police, Fire Emergency New Zealand and St John Ambulance really respond in emergencies, with visual displays and interactive learning for all".
Our brigade was involved showing some of our vehicles and equipment, using the event for the first time to actively promote recruitment with custom-made signs and flags to attract visitors' attention.
Sirens and Sounds was held at Avondale with a day-long continuous programme of emergency services' personnel showing their skills.
