Those were the shouted words a motorcyclist used tonight to warn the driver of a mobile crane that his vehicle was on fire. The driver, unaware of the blaze, stopped at the Balmoral Road intersection. He quickly found the battery box just behind the cab was on fire and called the fire brigade. Firefighters soon had the fire out but not before it had badly damaged the batteries and surrounds. Members assisted with traffic management at the busy intersection and waited until repairs were made which allowed the 35 tonne vehicle to depart under its own power.
