One person was extricated from the van after this afternoon's crash

This afternoon's crash in East Tamaki between a bus and a van turned out to be an extended job with members assisting with road blocks to close Kilkenny Drive. Firefighters extricated one occupant trapped in the wreckage of the van after the head-on collision. The police Serious Crash Unit is investigating the cause.
