Members closed part of Grange Road, Mt Eden, this afternoon during Fire Service activities in doctors' surgeries at the corner of Mt Eden Road. The call was to a small chemical spillage. Two firefighters at the centre of operations wore full protective over-suits and once the spillage was dealt with they went through the decontamination shower. Duties for Operational Support personnel were traffic management (activities continued through the evening rush-hours) and scene protection.
