Suspicious: last structure fire attended year-ended 30/06/14

The Brigade's total response for year ended June 30th is down compared to last year, 553 call-outs as against 583. This despite experiencing our busiest day ever, with 18 calls, in the wake of the storm that passed over Auckland on 17th April. The last structure fire for the old year was double garage in Glen Eden, badly damaged in suspicious circumstances. And the year began strongly: today there've been 3 calls - to a fire in a Henderson factory, a motor vehicle accident in Mt Eden and to a fork-hoist on fire in a Mangere warehouse.
