Members gather chairs - mustn't keep the bride waiting

Members turned out this morning to Easter weekend's second fatal crash in the north-west of our patch. A woman died at the scene after her vehicle and a truck were in collision on the Riverhead - Coatesville Highway near Old Railway Road. Members assisted with a road closure at the intersection of SH 16 plus other duties on the incident ground. One of these was to help gather up tables and chairs at the scene. They were in the truck involved, which was impounded. The seating and tables were required for a wedding this afternoon. Members loaded them into another van for transport in time for the nuptials.
