The Brigade was chosen as one of the participants in Z Service Stations' annual "Good in the Hood" promotion, and our brigade will benefit in proportion to customers' votes at the Skyway Service station, Auckland International Airport. Customers are given tokens which they use to vote for the 4 participating neighbourhood groups. And so far, just halfway through the promotion, customers favour our Brigade. "I think tokens for the Auckland Volunteer Fire Brigade will overflow before month's end", says station management. Those who can't visit Z Skyway at Mangere in person can earn extra tokens for the cause by playing the on-line games at http://z.co.nz/TokenHunt.
