Glen Eden: "Smoke in vicinity" led to a shop-fire
A Glen Eden shop was gutted in the early hours of the morning after a fire which is being treated as suspicious. Initially the Brigade responded to smoke in the vicinity but on arrival found the shop well involved. Members provided lighting and refreshments at the scene. They also assisted the Police in a general security sweep of the surrounding area following evidence of other fires in rubbish bins.
