For the second morning in a row one of the main access routes to Auckland Airport was blocked today. Yesterday George Bolt Drive in Mangere was closed after a major accident. Today it was a much shorter closure in Manukau Road, Epsom, after 5 cars were involved in a collision near Onslow Road. No serious injuries were reported. Members maintained road blocks on Manukau Road while police made enquiries and until all the vehicles could be removed. Additional management was provided in The Drive to assist traffic traverse detours.
