There was another unexplained fire in the high-rise Park Residences apartment block this afternoon. Firefighters responded to a second alarm call-out when there was a blaze in the 32-storey building in downtown Albert Street. A series of suspicious fires on various levels in the same building yesterday resulted in investigations by fire and police personnel. Today’s outbreak, like those yesterday, was quickly doused by the building's sprinkler system. Workmen are putting finishing touches to the apartments, now delayed by the series of fires and those apartments with water damage. Fire investigators and detectives are making inquiries into the latest outbreak. Our members carried out a variety of duties on and around the fire-ground.
